LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completing this course, participants will have discovered:
- How a simple, consistent graphic design can unify and enhance the presentation of online courses and programmes;
- Why and how to implement learner-centered, constructivist approaches to teaching/learning in an online course;
- Why and how to develop learning outcomes and objectives that address higher order learning;
- Why and how to implement current notions of "best practices" in online learning;
- How to plan and design assignments, discussion questions, learning journals, portfolio exercises, projects and examinations that
encourage and assess higher order learning outcomes;
- How to link various components of a course to facilitate learner navigation within the course materials;
